Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using services of Tides & Technology, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We strive to provide 99.9% uptime for our hosting services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated 24 hours in advance via email.

3. Hardware Repairs

For hardware repair services, we provide a diagnostic quote. If cost of repair exceeds quote or is deemed uneconomical (e.g., exceeding 60% of device value), we will consult with client before proceeding. Data recovery is not guaranteed and depends on physical state of storage media.

4. Liability

Tides & Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of props, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

5. Canadian Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia.
